From Musical Theatre, live Cabaret to Television and Radio, Monique Montez is a force to be reckoned with!

2014 has seen Monique awarded the "Best Female Vocalist of the Year" ACE Award, and was also nominated for "Best Performer of the Year". She has also been acknowledged with several Mo and Helpmann Award nominations over the years, for her sensational cabaret shows, and lead musical performances.

Monique is currently on an Australian tour with "Damn Good Divas", selling out shows, and collecting rave reviews! 

Musicals include: "We Will Rock You" (Japan), "Fiddler On the Roof" (New Zealand), "Dusty the Original Pop Diva" (Australia) to "Best Female Vocalist" (12th ACE Awards) and Helpmann Award nomination for her portrayal of Annette in "Saturday Night Fever". 

Conrad Jupiter's Casino chose Monique as the lead role of "Goddess", in the stage show "Hidden Palace" in 2001-2002. Between musicals 2002-2009, Monique was the "Support act" singing her self-written cabaret shows/act, with performers such as Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney, The Drifters, Taylor Dane, Sneaky Sound System, and Human Nature amongst many others. 

The 2007 Adelaide Cabaret Festival saw Monique as one of the "Bond Bombshells", in "License to Thrill", under the direction of Mr Terrence O'Connell. 

Television credits include All Saints, Wildside, Good Morning Australia, Kerrie Anne, Fresh, Carols in the Domain and The Footy Show as well as presenting on Foxtel. 

The corporate world has also taken a liking with Monique, travelling her world wide for her vocals from New Zealand and Asia to the UK and USA. Clients such as Sir Richard Branson, Richard Pratt, the French Embassy, Bentley and Rado to name a few. 

Monique's diversity as an artist has spanned over 20 years. Monique is grateful for all she has accomplished, and excited for all the future holds.
