What a wonderful addition to our Festival for passionate disc bowlers!
The Australian Disc Bowls Championships has several sections:
- Mens Singles
- Ladies Singles
- Mixed Pairs
- Ladies Triples
- Mens Triples
For this event, you can organise your team in advance and then book on registration day as per the program. All teams must have an individual name, not the name of your club, chapter or other organisation. Of course being a festival based on birds, we love it if you have a bird-y name but you don’t have to do so.
The Pairs and Triples will be round-robins with the number of rounds depending on the number of teams participating.
The Singles will both be knockout competitions, with the winner of the Ladies to play the winner of the Mens for the title of Overall Champion.
Presentation of first, second and third place getters will be made prior to the evening entertainment around 7 pm on the day the event is played.
Rules for disc bowls, whether social or championship, are the same – click here to read.
We look forward to your team or name replacing these ones for 2022.
