HAPPY NEW YEAR
To all our loyal Crow flock – we hope you have a very healthy and happy 2022 and that the coming year is a far more positive one than previously. Hopefully, you were able to catch up with family and friends over the Christmas/New Year period.
There is no doubt we all look forward to being able to travel and enjoy the camaraderie that is gained when tales are told around a campfire, when games are played in an entertaining manner and while memories are made and shared.
Our entertainment lineup is now finalised and – drum roll – here it is ….
Friday night – Darren Carr and Friends – it wouldn’t be Stone the Crows without him
Saturday night – The Crows Showcase with Darren, Mel & Susie plus all the usual Crow Crew
Sunday Night – Lisa Crouch – returns invigorated with new music to share
Monday night – Amber Lawrence – 5 times Golden Guitar winner
Tuesday night – Lucky Starr – the old rocker needs no introduction
Wednesday night – Jacques Renay – close your eyes and he is Tom Jones
Thursday – Ross Maio – you will be enthralled by his wizardry
plus Peter Mace (Bush Poet), Jim Haynes, Grant Luhrs, Marcus Holden …. and probably more
There will still be the normal popular activities like the Australian Disc Bowls Championships, social disc bowls, pétanque and ladder golf plus Daddy Day Care, Crafty Crows, seminars and workshops and lots more.
If you are thinking do I qualify as a member of the crow flock – you can get all the info at stonethecrows.com.au and in particular through the bookings page. From there you can select a new booking for 2022 or just roll over your previous booking.
There is no doubt everyone will be soooo happy just to be able to travel again after the last two years of restrictions.
In the coming days, there will be more updates to the website with entertainers profiles and additions to the program, like our usual “big bugger” B double truck with Rod Hannifey espousing words of wisdom to ensure that the roads are safely shared between the RV travellers and the big trucks (you will be amazed at the rules and regulations they need to observe – which is why it is so important to attend this seminar if no other).
One recent query – why does it say April 14 – that’s for the first timers who come into nest on the Thursday – when friendly crow Pam will tell them where to go and what they can do during the week. Us old crows don’t need to be ordered around (however politely) we will just fly into nest on Friday the 15th.
Don’t hesitate to email any queries and they will be answered asap (we are still in a bit of holiday mode but will get back to you).
Till the next edition towards 2022 – take care and keep safe
Chrissy
