WELCOME TO THE PROJECT LIST FOR 2022
Each of these kits has been specifically prepared by one of our volunteer tutors for your enjoyment.
There are LIMITED numbers available for each item – so it’s a case of first ordered and paid will receive their chosen item. PLEASE ORDER EACH KIT SEPARATELY SO IT CAN BE DIRECTED TO THE SPECIFIC TUTOR.
Several tutors have given their time and expertise to design, create and manufacture the kits which will be assembled on site during the Festival. Collection of prepaid kits will be between 2 pm and 4 pm at the Daddy Day Care Marquee on Friday April 15. Any kits not pre-ordered will be available for sale during that time.
Class times will be on Saturday and Sunday (Monday is open day and market) then Tuesday and Wednesday at the hours nominated in the timetable. Thursday can be a finishing off or problem solving morning, subject to consultation with the tutor of your kit.

SOLUNAR BOX
So called for its sun and moon motives which enhance a curved sliding entry top, this box has two compartments accessed via small knobs. The sides of the box are engraved with sun rays and clouds. Squares of thick felt cover the internal base of each side. Something quite different to other boxes available from Daddy Day Care in the past.

PARADISE BOX
The photo is an illustration only as there are a selection of engraved and plain tops and sides for this article. The lack of obvious joining method, ie screws, enhances the side views. Utilising a hinged lid, there is only one compartment, making it ideal for larger items to be stored within.

HEART BOX
The perfect Easter Bunny present – just fill with Easter Eggs or Chocolates and you will be really appreciated by your other half. No hinges or fiddley bits make this a perfect beginners project.

Absolutely ideal as a ring box or to hold any other one off item. Again no hinges so it’s perfect for the beginner who wants to go home with a small box to hold that special gift.

MARVELLOUS MARBLE MACHINE
Uniquely designed and made, you won’t find this marble machine in any shop. Approximate size 600 mm x 600 mm x 270 mm high, and fully motorised, this will keep both adults and grandkids entertained for hours. All wooden construction ensures a long life and it could become a family heirloom.

TEDDY TEA DIPPER
This kinetic sculpture is a real talking point with its impressive movement structure … and actually makes your favourite tea. There is a choice between a manual handle turning or motorised models. Imagine the comments when you ask someone to select their tea bag, attach it to the mini clamp and a cup of hot water sits below – it’s easy to make a very weak or strong cuppa – just keep the little bear jiggling up and down. The motorised version just plugs into a normal power point – no batteries needed.
Once again, this project was designed pre-covid so the price reflects extra value when you see the parts in the kit.
