So where do you stay on your way? There is generally useful information on the Visit Wagga website.

Obviously there are several caravan parks in town as well as the campsite at Wilks Park on the north side of town at Gardiner Street North Wagga. GPS co-ordinates we have been given are -35.09593 147.37236. There are showers, toilets, BBQ tables, water, dogs are allowed and there is a dump point. Maximum stay 72 hours. Phone and TV reception is excellent. There is another 72 hour campsite at Oura Beach Reserve, located about 20 minutes out of town, perfect for camping, fishing or just sitting by the Murrumbidgee River. Another option for unpowered sites is the local Scout Camp.
